“Art and Ecology in a Time of Crisis” at Sursock's Museum

The Sursock Museum in Beirut is planning a group exhibition entitled “Let’s Talk About the Weather: Art and Ecology in a Time of Crisis”. The group exhibition will start in July 2016 and is expected to include the work of an international artist who deals with issues of ecology and climate change. This work consists of two solar-powered video installations, with the electrical infrastructure being very much part of the work’s aesthetics. LCEC calls upon interested solar photovoltaic companies to consider sponsoring this part of the show through the temporary installation of a full 2-kW solar system (including batteries) to be part of the show. The solar panels will be installed on the esplanade of the museum, and will be connected to the exhibition space, which is located under the esplanade. The logo of the sponsoring company will be visible during the duration of the show. Interested parties are requested to contact Ms. Patil Mesrobian, LCEC Programmes Development Officer/ Environmental Specialist at the following email address: patil.mesrobian@lcecp.org.lb.
