”Post-COP21 Adaptation Policies for the Mediterranean: The Case of Lebanon”

The General Directorate of Hydraulic and Electric Resources at the Ministry of Energy and Water is organizing a 1-day conference entitled “Post-COP21 Adaptation Policies for the Mediterranean: The Case of Lebanon”. This event will be done under the patronage and presence of the Minister of Energy and Water H.E. Mr. Arthur Nazarian. The event will take place on Tuesday, 15 March 2016, and will include four sessions dealing with water, environment, energy, and ethics. The session on energy will include interventions from ESCWA, the Regional Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (RCREEE), and the Central Bank of Lebanon (BDL). The LCEC will be represented in the same session through the interventions of Dr. Joseph Al Assad and Dr. Sorina Mortada. Parties interested to attend this event are requested to contact Ms. Farah Mawla, Communication and PR Assistant: farah.mawla@lcecp.org.lb. Participation is free-of-charge. As the places are limited to 50 attendees, registration will be done on a first-come-first-serve basis.
