$121M To Support Fodder Cultivation
A $121million (LL182 billion) fund to support fodder farming in Lebanon has been launched by Finance Minister Mohammad Safadi and Agriculture Minister Hussein Hajj Hassan.
The five-year program would help Lebanese farmers develop the cultivation of fodder, enhance quality, lower production cost and boost volume of production.
The Ministry of Finance would allocate LL28.580 billion to the 2012 Agriculture Ministry budget to cover the subsidy of fodder, according to Safadi.
