How to Green New Year's Eve in Lebanon?

New Year's Eve is always special.

Between food and decoration, New Year's parties would result in a lot of waste. Environmentalists advise celebrators to choose seasonal and local recipes to reduce waste and go organic while for instance drink like Vodka.

Others ask to turn down the heat and choose glass over paper. While in Lebanon, however, many Lebanese prefer to celebrate this event at home, most of them go out. So can these rules be applied in the New Year’s Eve parties, in the hopes to be eco-friendly.
