ItalyOffers Grants on Heat Pumps Installations in Lebanon

As part of the continuous partnership between Italy and Lebanon, the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land, and Sea (IMELS) has dedicated a grant to cover 30% of the total costs of 30 heat pumps installations all over Lebanon (residential and commercial buildings). The remaining 70% of the projects costs would be covered by NEEREA subsidized loans. The total cost of this initiative is estimated at around 500,000 Euros. To benefit from this grant component, interested parties are requested to attend Session 3A of the International Beirut Energy Forum 2018 on Wednesday, 26 September 2018 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The session is entitled “The Grant Component of the “Heat Pumps” and “Home Appliances” Projects”. The session will also witness the launching of a new initiative on energy efficiency in home appliances..
