It's Our Beach. Keep It Clean
Efforts to clean-up Lebanon's beaches are on the rise.The Lebanese Chinese Business Council launched a campaign to clean-up Ramlat al Baida beach in Beirut on July 14.
“It’s time to cooperate with the Council in the environment field,” the Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, Wu Zexian said.
The ambassador reiterates its support to the steps taken by the Council to clean monuments and plant roadsides.
If, however, beach clean-up campaigns are, a good step towards preserving our environment, imposing penalties on those who litter, remains crucial.
