Lebanese Ministry of Energy and Water Awards a Contract for a New Solar Farm

The General Directorate of Hydraulic and Electric Resources at the Lebanese Ministry of Energy and Water has recently finalized the bid for the selection of a supplier to install a 1 MW solar photovoltaic farm in Choukine, Lebanon. A consortium made of 4 Lebanese companies won the bid and the installation works are expected to start in a 2-month time. Following the 1 MW BRSS project and the 1 MW Zahrani Oil Installations project, the Choukine solar farm is the third step in a national plan initiated by the Ministry of Energy and Water.
