Lebanon Removes Custom Duty to Save Energy
Following the many requests received by the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC) to work on reducing customs duties on renewable energy and energy efficiency products, the (LCEC) will initiate a national momentum aiming at the preparation of a list of these products.
Efforts will be invested with the concerned parties at the Ministry of Finance to remove or reduce customs duties on the products in the list.
Suppliers and importers are asked to submit product details to the LCEC booth during the Beirut Energy Forum 2012.
