New Template for Green Loans Published Online

As part of the continuous efforts to improve the working procedures of the BDL green loans mechanism, the LCEC has published a new template regarding the “Technical Proposal for an Environmental and Sustainability Project” (V1.1). The template is to be used for any loan request dealing with solutions and measures mentioned in the official circulars of the Central Bank of Lebanon (BDL) as part of the Lebanese Environmental Action (LEA). The LEA national financing mechanism includes solutions and measures dealing with waste water treatment, rain water collection, landscaping, ecotourism, stone cladding, roof tiling, and others.
